Miami’s own Scarlett Schremmer won the 2026 Red Sky Classic in Colorado after a record setting tournament. Schremmer, a sophomore who transferred from Texas A&M, finished the tournament at 17-under. This set the event record by just four shots and marks her second victory of the season.
The Hurricanes ultimately finished the week at second place with 33 under par, coming behind USC who carded 47 under, and just ahead of Schremmer’s former team, Texas A&M who was 32 under.
Miami carded 277, 281 and 273, the second lowest 54 hole score in the program’s history. Miami’s second round performance was considered their best, shooting 15 under and swinging their way into second place among 20 other competitors.
Ashleen Kaur tagged along with Schremmer in the top 15, tying for 15th place. Kaur carded 7 under 209 after three rounds. Olivia Grongberg tied for 26th place at 4 under 212 and Barbora Bujáková tied for 40th. Miami’s top 60 line up was rounded off by Bella Dovhey who tied for 59th at 3 over 219.
Carlee Rogers, who competed as an individual, tied for 71st place. The Canes women’s golf team will tee off next at the Ruth Chris Tar Heel Invitational on Oct. 16.
