"It wasn’t like we were throwing into double coverage all night. We lost every one-on-one battle there was. We will have to be creative to help our guys free up and get some completions and get some things to get us going," Lashlee said.

"Clemson has been the standard for the last several years," Miami offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee said. "They’ve earned everything they’ve been given and the respect that they have, they’ve earned it."

After a 52-10 win over Florida State last Saturday, one of the most lopsided victories between Miami and Florida State in the history of the rivalry, the Hurricanes claim their highest ranking since preseason of 2018, where they were ranked No. 8 heading into the season.
